Our background
We have been playing to audiences across Essex and London for eight years.
The band started as a hobby all that time ago, playing the music we loved - 60's and 70's classics. However, it was not long before we were offered engagements and our enthusiasm for doing live performances took off.
We now regularly play at:
- 60's style dances / corporate functions
- Wedding receptions and other parties
- Golf and yacht club dances
- Charity and fund raising events

If you are organising a charity ball or special event for your club / society or you are looking for a band to make your wedding reception go with a swing and you think our music would excite your guests we would be pleased to hear from you.

On stage
A good number of us in the band grew up on a diet of sixties music and rock 'n' roll and the passion we have for it comes through in our performances.
A Y-NOT show is a fast moving, entertaining and 'professional ' event designed to keep the dance floor full.
Some of the band members have, in the past, backed or appeared with many well known acts - from The Swinging Blue Jeans to Tommy Trinder, from Jim Davidson to Brian Poole and from Marty Wilde through to The Black and White Minstrels - absolutely true!
